I wish I was a journaler. Every night sitting down to write about the day, simple events that will soon be forgotten. I'm not a journaler. I'm hardly a do anything consistently every night girl besides brushing my teeth. But I do make things. Food. Socks. Bags. Quilts. I do hear little words from little people that make me smile. And I want to remember these things. This is my place.
Last semester in graduate school I took a counseling course. The course was alright, but it (in it's round about way) made me grow in a great way as a person. Jaqui, the professor, assigned us to keep a journal and write whatever we wanted. This was hard, especially because it was an assignment to be graded, but it was also fun. So here I am to write about my days teaching, learning, and crafting.

Welcome! Speaking for the blog world (presumptuous, I know) we are all so glad you are here. Our little created world will be better now that you are in it.
Thanks for your comment... I started my blog after a graduate project on journaling (yup, using it as a verb) ended. It's definitely evolved; it started as a reflection on teaching! I look forward to exploring yours.
I've never been a journaler either, but for some reason blogging just "seems right" and I've been journaling for a year now. Have fun with your blogging! :)
