Upon my class and internship ending I promptly handed in all end-of-the-semester paperwork and drove home free as a bird. It felt great until I got home and realized, "I have no idea how to do nothing right now." Thank goodness that feeling was intercepted by a phone call for an impromptu night at the beach.Girls night at the beach filled with the smell of sunscreen, fresh water, and seaweed; the taste of local food (o.k., we may have also had vegetarian sushi at the beach and the irony made us chuckle); the sound of seagulls, laughter, and waves crashing.
It was all so good. Time stood still and flew all at the same time.
