Autumn Quilt, again

(for some reason, my last 'autumn quilt' post caused my blog to not work in Internet Explorer. I figured it out and everything is back working! I did, however, have to delete the previous post so here it is again! Today's post is here)
My latest quilt project has been putting together the squares the 12 square folks sent to me from the into a quilt. Last year around now it was my month and I sent out a bunch of my favorite autumn-inspired fabrics to some very, very, very talented and inspiring quilter and crafty folks. Truth be told, I felt a little bit nervous to participate. These ladies are wonderfully talented and creative minds. I was blown away by the squares they sent as they were all so wonderfully put together. Each square was a meditation on my theme-- "autumn."

I used a white linen for the sashing which I think really allows the squares to speak for themselves. I loved how each square was so unique but together in quilt form they really look wonderful together. My autumn quilt is my submission to Amy's Quilt Festival--so full of quilty inspiration. I better head to the craft room right now!Have a lovely weekend!
