Found it

My mission is complete. I should do this more often-what a perfect way to change a mood. (Give it a try if you haven't- it really opened my eyes to how blessed my life is). My camera spent a good half of the day in the trunk of my car, but rest assured there was plenty of merriment that could have been captured. It was not a day of photographic skill, but quickly snapping pictures of things that made me happy generated a contented mood which was just the shift I needed.

Thank you all for your kind words on a day I felt I needed to be authentic!

101.3 is the Christmas station where you live too? I love remembering all of the little things and finding a new mood. It's far to easy to get pulled into the rush and stress of everything else and forget what's important.

Oh good -- I'm glad you found it! Just hearing support from others helps so much, doesn't it? I'm still trying to "find it," but I spent some time making rum balls yesterday -- and that made me happy. Hang in there Jessica! And good luck teaching your sister how to knit.

There is so much that can bring joy to our hearts if we take the time to notice them. It is so easy to get stuck in tunnel vision.

Beautiful blessings! I have a problem with living with my eyes shut (or so it seems) and I miss out on all the wonderful lovelies in my life!

I didn't see your post from yesterday until this morning. I am glad you were able to find some merriment, since it sounds like you have a lot more to deal with than just a lack of sun and a resistance to change. All of those things can be hard in normal times. I too resist change, even when I know I sought it out.

I found the "all Christmas songs all the time" station just recently, and I love it. And, I have been spending a lot of time with my sister lately because she wanted to learn to quilt (or maybe I forced her to learn) either way we have had a good time together.

I hope you can find more merriment today.

I'm sooooooooo glad you were able to find your MERRIMENT...I know the last few days have probably been pretty rough. You shouldn't have to deal with things like that at your age. But I'd expect nothing less from you than to be focusing on the positive and how blessed you are! Some day, when I grow up, I'm going to be a lot more like you! LOL!

Thanks for always inspiring me to keep it simple and enjoy the moment. THAT is the greatest gift we all have.

Merry Christmas, Chicklet!

That's the way to do it Jessica!

I am always telling my kids, you can't control everything or everyone around you....But you can control how you react to it and what you put out there.

I love your reactions Jessica-They bring only good and joy to the world.

I might just copy you on this post...I think there are alot of people needing encouragement this holiday season...Sometimes we forget that it is all about the little things.

God Bless you,

Robin~♥
