spring has sprung

forcing cherry blossoms

the first daffodil
nightly walks

Spring has definitely sprung.  The other day I packed away all the winter woolens and then wished I wasn't jinxing myself into one of those (late storms).  The windows have been open as much as possible thanks to the solar heat that 10 foot windows give off on nice sunny days.  The fresh air seems so refreshing and energizing.  Lately evening walks have made their appearance in my days again.  It is so nice to take a long walk before heading to bed.  I definitely sleep sounder and wake up much more rested.

This year I am forcing cherry blossoms inside. Each day the buds are growing bigger and bigger.  Today there is a hint of pink on them.  The daffodils are in full bloom and I caught them on camera unlike those crocuses I missed.  Soon I'll be cutting forsythia and bringing it inside to enjoy. Can you believe that last year now the forsythia was in full bloom while this year the buds are still quite small?  Soon, soon they will bloom-just in the right time.
