Last night I discovered I hadn't taken a picture in one whole entire complete month which then made me think back to the last time I wrote and I realized I couldn't remember which basically means in the last month I have completely lost my writing inspiration. Yikes. That can't be!
Wintry months are hard here and March is especially challenging. I wish I loved cold blustery days with a side of gray clouds but the honest truth is they make me feel a bit less than 'me.' But now it is April and the tulips and daffodils are sprouting. The crocuses have shown their lovely purple and yellow blossoms (and yes, I didn't even take a picture).
Right now it is outage season and I am up to my eyes in projects I've put aside for this time of year. I'm organizing the basement, sorting through closets, and finishing that quilt I started a little while ago years ago. I'm packing away down comforters and flannel sheets. I am steaming the carpets and washing windows. A pantry clean out might even be in the future. Obviously, I've fallen into the depths of Spring cleaning! But there is also party planning, coffee drinking, book reading, walking, biking, and celebrating. All of this leads me to photographing more and perhaps (hopefully, because it's outage season for heaven's sake and I'm doing nothing else) writing more. How does that sound?

I took March off as well and just dived into family life. It felt good to take a break from blogging and photography. I feel refreshed and energized and ready for crafting again :)
So glad to see you back my far away friend. Sometimes we all need a nice hibernation followed by a good stretch and some scrubbing.
So glad you're back...we're just entering the season of MUD here...so Spring can't be far away...
Sounds great!
Your blog is one of my favorites...I'm so glad you're back!

I was just thinking of you the other day & wondering how you were/what you were doing. So glad to see you in this space again!!
